Joshua 1:1-3 5-9

The Journey to Victory – part 3

  • Victory isn’t a stage, it’s a process
    • The voice of God leads to the vision of God
      • Words create images
    • Valor – courage
      • Valor means strength of mind or spirit that enables a person to encounter danger
      • Applied when life shifts to unexpected circumstances/responsibility
      • The only reason some people never fulfill their dream is because they lack courage
      • Be strong and very courageous!
        • Courage isn’t the absence of fear
          • It’s the judgment that something else is more important than your fear
        • When you don’t have courage you need strength
  • Fear is temporary, but regret is permanent
    • Feel the fear and do it anyway
    • Don’t fall in love with security and miss out on opportunity
    • Judges 7:2-3
      • When God has given you a challenge you need courageous people with you
        • You need people around to encourage you
        • You have to be able to speak strength to yourself
  • The opposite of courage in our society is not cowardice; it’s conformity
  • Out greatest testimony of courage is a willingness to live
    • It’s easy to die, it’s hard to fight and live
  • God doesn’t define you by where you are, he defines you by what he created you to be
    • Don’t allow your activity to form your identity
  • Victory belongs to you

Pastor Diego Mesa
Word of Faith
Mark 8:22-26

You may not know how and may not know when, but God will do it again
  • God wants to do something in your life that he’s already done before
  • The first touch took you so far, but the second touch will make you see clearly
    • The second touch means God is not done with you yet
      • Jesus felt like one touch wasn’t enough
  • It’s not that the first touch didn’t work, God works in seasons and stages

The end of a thing is better than the beginning

Christians don’t have a Faith problem, they have a hope problem

  • Hope is the anchor for the soul and so is the mind
    • Don’t stop expecting miracles
    • You have to find Christ in brand new ways when in brand new situations
When fighting the enemy throw the rule book out the window
    • Fight with your mind, body, words, ideas, etc.
    • Build a team around you
Don’t look to your left or your right. Keep focus on the tasks at hand
  • Find God as “my personal ________”
    • Healer
    • Stronghold
    • Wisdom
    • Etc
People will let allow their condition to form a new personality
  • The enemy will influence you to feel sorry for yourself
  • Resist the devil and he will flee
    • Sometimes the devil has already left but things linger that make you think he’s present
      • Physical pain
      • Ideas
      • memories
The woman with the issue of blood
  • She knew within herself that she was healed,
  • she didn’t need a medical diagnosis to claim healing.

1 Timothy 2:1-5

  • What do you do when you don’t have access?
    • Jesus is our access point
      • Our mediator between God  and man
        • Mediate- to resolve or settle by working with all the conflicting parties

James Robertson story

  • Possessed incredible work ethic, but lacked access
  • Evan Leedy
    • God will send people to help you that don’t look like you
  • Sometimes thepeople that hold the power are not the problem
    • Be nice to people who don’t hold power because they might have access
    • You’re only 1 person away from most of everything you need in life
  • Ezekiel 22:23-31
  • What gives you access?
    • What you know sometimes gives you access
    • Who you know gives you access
    • Your gift gives you access
      • Proverbs 18:16
      • Whatever youwere designedto be known for is your gift
        • 1 dominant thing
    • Who you are with or whose you are can give you access
      • Spouse
      • Parent
    • Honor and respect can give you access
      • Dishonor revokes access
    • Kindness can grant you access
    • The favor of God can grant you access
    • Proper ID can grant you access
    • Money can grant you access
    • Credentials can grant you access
    • Similarity can grant you access
    • Proximity can grant you access
    • A unique moment gives you access
      • A window of opportunity
        • You don’t create the moment. You see it then seize it
    • Trust is the currency of true access

Reposition Your Mirror

Bishop Dale C. Bronner
Word of Faith
II Corinthians 3:12-18

Reposition Your Mirror

  • Recognize your own image
    • When you don’t recognize your image, you’ll attack yourself.
      • If you conquer the enemy within,  the enemy without can do you no harm.
    • We don’t things as they are, we see them as we are.
  • Position your mirror to reflect God
    • You’ll be able to reflect the light of his glory
    • Our body is a frame
      • God is the image
  • The mirror isn’t a source of light, it’s a reflector of a source
    • The moon only shines because of the light of the sun
  • There are multiple translations of scripture
    • One says beholding as in a mirror
    • The other says reflecting like a mirror
  • After Moses beheld the glory of God,  his face reflected it
    • Words
    • Actions
    • Beliefs
  • Behold God in such a light that you can’t help but reflect him
  • The great stare down between you and God
    • Beholding leads to becoming, becoming leads to reflecting
  • Let your life story reflect his glory
  • To behold is to:
    • Study
    • Stare
    • Contemplate
      • You become what you behold
  • Whatever captures and holds your attention will ultimately control the direction of your life
  • Recognize – to know again
    • Re-cognize
  • From a big test comes a big testimony
  • From a big mess comes a big message

It’s Showtime

Brad Hamby
Word of Faith
Exodus 2:11-15,25,5

It’s Showtime

  • God placed a dream and drive in Moses to deliver people
  • Moses believes it’s time to step out on his stage of destiny
    • He only comes to find that he made things worse than they were before
      • Pharaoh wanted him killed
  • Sometimes before God can resurrect the dream in you, he has to kill it first
    • Wait for the proper timing
    • The dream has for you is bigger than what you are
  • When things begin to die in you,  is really when greater things become alive
  • Moses was frustrated because his dream did not pass
  • How you know it’s showtime
    • Jesus will begin to turn on the lights
      • He will shine in an opportunity he has laid to the side
        • Temptation lays on the door bell, but opportunity only knocks once
      • When he turns on the light,  he disturbs what you know as normal
      • Look for extraordinary opportunities
        • Investigate new outlets
      • Anytime God asks you to do a weird thing, he is about to show you what weirdness about you separates you from others
        • That weirdness is a portal of divine design when combined with anointing
      • Jesus was a nonconformist
        • He befriended prostitutes
        • Hung out with tax collectors
      • When you push away divine design you minimize the abilityto be great
        • It makes people self conscious instead of God Conscious
    • He will reveal is power
      • If you put in what God tells you to put in,  you can pull out what he has for you
    • He’s going to give you divine connections
      • He will never isolate you longer than it takes to bring you new connections
        • You need to be around somebody that can reach into you and pull out your greatness
Random Notes
  • Never become intoxicated by the praise of man
  • You win some band learn some, but you never lose
    • Those who praise you will crucify you

  • God won’t let you use your weaknesses as an excuse for what you are supposed to do
Stop confusing the feeling of loneliness with the transformative feeling of being alone

There are 3 questions to answer:

  • What are the weaknesses thatPaulhad had in mind
  • What is the source of such weakness
    • A messenger of Satan given/sent to harass
      • Learn to recognize messengers of Satan
        • Pride of what we have done

Bishop Dale C. Bronner
Word of Faith
Proverbs 21: 31

Prepare for your Dream

  • Life is a battle
    • we are told to fight the good fight of faith
  • prepare your horse
  • get your SYSTEM
    • Saves You Stress Time Energy and Money
  • Faith in God is not an excuse to forgo proper preparation in the natural
    • faith is not a substitute for wisdom
    • hope is not a strategy
      • you just cant hope to win a war
    • the wisdom of God produces a strategy
  • Hope is the goal setter for faith
  • Job 33:14-15 NLT
    • God deals with mankind in dreams and through the visions of the night
    • the best works emerge from darkness
    • Failure is the womb of success

Preliminary Questions:

  • is this MY dream or is the God’s dream for me?
    • we don’t decide our destiny, we simply receive what he decided
    • he leads us on a journey of discovery
  • Does the dream serve MY desires or does it serve others
    • God given dreams serve others
    • we have too many egotistical and egocentric leaders
  • Do i have the resources to fund it or do i have to trust God for the resources

    • God dreams always bring glory to God
  • Will the dream die when i die or can the dream outlive?
    • you have to have somebody who teaches you how to dream
    • don’t ever get to a place where you stop dreaming
      • you die when you stop dreaming
    • find what God wants to do with you
      • Live the passion that God has placed in you.
      • You don’t get what you want; you get what you prepare for
        • a dream without a plan quickly expire
        • dreams don’t die, they commit suicide because they were never prepared for
        • whatever you want in your life, you have to Schedule it to happen.
    • Real change doesn’t happen overnight, it happens over time

How Helen Keller earned to speak:

How to turn your dream into a reality:

  • See it
    • always start with the end in mind
    • believe that it can and will happen
  • Identify your limiting beliefs.
    • most can be identified in your self esteems
      • I’m too short, I’m too old, I’m too fat, etc
    • uproot these limits
  • Pray as though it is all up to God!
    • ASAP
      • always say a prayer
        • you have to pray before the devil has the opportunity to get active
  • Work as if it is all up to you!
    • its easier to act your way into feeling than it is to feel your way up to action
  • Set smart goals to gradually attain your dream
    • S.M.A.R.T
      • specific
      • measurable
      • attainable
      • reasonable/realistic
      • Time sensitive
        • every goal must have a deadline
        • create urgency
  • Create a plan of action
    • part of that is to do something everyday in the direction of your dream
      • making a call
      • researching
      • speak with a mentor
      • build a relationship with somebody in this area
  • Allow others to help you
  • Don’t make excuses
    • excuses give you permission to stay where you are
    • maturity comes when you stop making excuses and start making changes.
  • Make sacrifices
    • sacrifice is about suffering for what you love
    • sacrifice means giving up something good in order to get something better
  • Celebrate small victories along the way.
    • if you’re an alcoholic and your 3 days clean, celebrate it
  • Never give up
    • Dreams fail from a lack of commitment, not a lack of ability
  • Be willing to fail
    • failure isn’t fatal and success isn’t permanent
    • failure is divided into two classes:
      • those who thought and never did
      • those who did and never thought
    • If you fail, never give up because F.A.I.L. means “First Attempt In Learning”
      •  you don’t learn to ride a bike without fall
    • End is not the end, in fact.  E.N.D
      • effort never dies
    • N.O
      • next opportunity

you have the power to live you dreams if you begin to eliminate excuses.

What’s Dead In You Will Arise

Bishop Isaac Etidia
Word of Faith
Psalms 78: 40-56

What’s Dead in You Will Arise

  • One of the most negative things you can do is show God doubt or unbelief
    • Doubting God is an insult
    • Any gift received from God is delivered because of Faith
    • He rewards those that diligently seek him
  • 65% of prayers offered by Christians are sent without faith
  • Contrary to belief,  miracles are still happening
    • When you believe in God there is nothing that’s impossible to receive
5 reasons why people doubt God
  1. People easily forget the hands of God upon their life
    1. Don’t forget the goodness of God in your life
    2. Believe the anointing
  2. Familiarity with God
    1. Mark 6: 1-6
    2. The anointed one
  3. People magnify their problemsto be bigger than God
    1. Only the voice of Lucifer tells you this
    2. One of the greatest virtues of Christianity is patience
      1. People want “microwave” miracles
      2. People measure the power of God with their wristwatch
      3. How do you judge lateness
        1. Lateness is judged by time
        2. God created time
        3. Does time answer to God, or does God answer to time!
        4. How can the creator of time be late?
        5. Whenever he comes,  he is on time
        6. Today it could be menopause,  tomorrow it could be meno”start”
  4. We doubt God because of humans senses
    1. We have not seen
    2. Not heard
    3. Not felt
    4. Not tasted
    5. Not smelled
    6. So we don’t believe. …
  5. We don’t know God
    1. If you know him,  you will trust him
It is an act of ignorance to travel your journey then turn and go back
  • It’s ignorant because you are closer to your destination than your origin

Provoked for Promotion

Bishop Dale C. Bronner
Word of Faith
1 Samuel 1: 1-7

Provoked for Promotion

  • There will always be someone or something to provoke you
  • Is provocation necessarily a bad thing?
    • It’s unkind to provoke people in areas they cannot change
    • Hebrews 10:24
      • Consider provoking others to love more
  • Live your life in such a way you provoke others to become better
  • The HebrewnamePenninnah means pearl
    • Was portrayed to be a villain
    • Pearls are produced when an irritant enters into a clam and it secretes hormones
  • Some of the best works come from a person that’s irritated
    • Irritation is a sign of future production
  • The Hebrew name Hannah means grace
    • Grace is another word for favor
  • God used Penninnah to provoke Hannah for good
  • Don’t get jealous get busy,  don’t get mad get producing
  • Being provoked is a chance to prove something or someone wrong
    • Choose your battles wisely
      • Not every provocation warrants a response
  • Provoke means to call forth or stir up
    • Calling something forth that was dormant
    • You have to provoke people to practice
  • The role of a Christian is not to get even,  but to get right
    • You can never get ahead of someone  if you’re always trying to get even with them
    • Ephesians 4:26-27
      • Settle your issues that day
      • Don’t allow the issue of today to negatively impact tomorrow

    • Fighting
  • Could God be using something to provoke you into a better place/position in life?
  • Whatevervexes you is normally a sign thatyouare gifted in that area
    • Ex: recognizing ignorance normally indicates the gift of teaching
3 Ways to deal with provocation
  • Whenever you are provoked, employ invocation
  • Whenever you are provoked, use revocation
  • Whenever you are provoked, find an avocation
    • Avocate – to call away
    • Find what avocation calls you away from your vocation
      • What place of peace or activity calls you away from work
    • Hannah’s avocation was the desire to birth something to give it back to God
      • The result was Samuel
  • Don’t allow your provoker to make you become bitter, allow it to make you become better
