The Journey to Victory – part 3

  • Victory isn’t a stage, it’s a process
    • The voice of God leads to the vision of God
      • Words create images
    • Valor – courage
      • Valor means strength of mind or spirit that enables a person to encounter danger
      • Applied when life shifts to unexpected circumstances/responsibility
      • The only reason some people never fulfill their dream is because they lack courage
      • Be strong and very courageous!
        • Courage isn’t the absence of fear
          • It’s the judgment that something else is more important than your fear
        • When you don’t have courage you need strength
  • Fear is temporary, but regret is permanent
    • Feel the fear and do it anyway
    • Don’t fall in love with security and miss out on opportunity
    • Judges 7:2-3
      • When God has given you a challenge you need courageous people with you
        • You need people around to encourage you
        • You have to be able to speak strength to yourself
  • The opposite of courage in our society is not cowardice; it’s conformity
  • Out greatest testimony of courage is a willingness to live
    • It’s easy to die, it’s hard to fight and live
  • God doesn’t define you by where you are, he defines you by what he created you to be
    • Don’t allow your activity to form your identity
  • Victory belongs to you
